Maybe you’re misreading things. You are after all the guy who said that stock markets rose in anticipation of the GOP retaking the White House! Did it ever occur to you that you might possibly have lost because of your steady stream of insane rhetoric? 

You contend that feminism is neutering American men, that homosexuality is like choosing ice-cream flavors, that LGBTs don’t face workplace discrimination, and said that this isn’t a big issue anyway.

Then there was that scandalous letter where you told your wife to act like your personal porn star and to wear a 2 piece bathing suit whenever on vacation. How did that sit with her? Did your wife vote for you after that?

You labeled DNC Chairperson, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, as the most vile, unprofessional, and despicable member of the House. Faced with a wave of criticism, you refused to apologize and blamed your insolence on your military experience.

Although close to Generalship, you were entangled in a torture incident and got yourself booted out of the military. You even bragged about torturing a policeman in Iraq. You were fined $5,000.

You said that the FBI committed cultural suicide by deleting Islamophobic material from its training, and that  white liberals want to be your ‘master.’  You said that President Obama served up a crap sandwich with a smile. Despite being a T-Potty favorite, you accepted Federal loot.

You claimed that some 80 House Democrats are Communists. But you vacillated when asked to name names. Then you flipped again and contended that President Obama’s campaign had Soviet Union and Marxist-Socialist themes.

You weighed in on the voter fraud conspiracy which some regard as a voter suppression campaign. You maintained for weeks that you got a raw deal in the election. And yet you also defended the disenfranchisement of Ohio voters.

You defended censorship of American news agencies. You suggested cutting foreign aid to Egypt to protest its first, democratic election.

Asked why you use security to squelch politely asked questions that you'd prefer not be asked, you saw your Gestapo Security strong-arm people out of a town hall meeting. But then, you consider a congressman in a hoodie to be a security threat.

You used the Affordable Care Act as a platform for another act – you said that everyone should be forced to buy a Glock 9mm handgun.

You contended that Social Security benefits are a form on 21^st century slavery. You also see food stamps as a form of slavery.

You were sure that the jobs report was an Obama Plot. You accused President Obama of destroying the Black community. You called Maxine Waters a Plantation Overseer, sent your brother to help her, and declared yourself to be a  Modern Day Harriet Tubman. You deny that Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. would support the 99% movement.

You complain about gas prices while driving a Hummer. You told liberals to ‘get the hell out,’ and then tried to back out of it later. You abused an Iraqi detainee, but identified Obama supporters as the threat to the gene pool. You accused Democrats of desiring insidious forms of slavery. Then you turn around and decry divisive rhetoric.

You invoked Hitler and accused President Obama of a ‘conscious, nefarious, and malicious intent’ to destroy Israel. Then you say that President Obama’s talk about equality and fairness is divisive.

You use a new book on Alger Hiss to channel Joe McCarthy. Then you revile other representatives for immature gimmickry on the House floor. You say that Joseph Goebbels would be very proud of the Democrats. And you claim that undocumented workers constitute an invasion and require a military solution.

You tried to blame President Obama for a bill that Obama opposed. You demanded that President Obama leave the United States. Then you said that you didn’t mean anyone leaving.

You unwittingly claimed that George Washington didn’t understand the Constitution; yet you see your stature as comparable to Abraham Lincoln.

By July, ‘12 at least one person wondered if you might be certifiably insane. The fact is, there was already enough on you to put you in a padded cell for the duration of your natural life. You say many stupid things. But when people track it, you squeal like a stuck pig.

Closing your eyes to the mess you create everywhere certainly distorts your perception of reality. The reality is that you profoundly disrespected women, gays, immigrants, Muslims, Democrats, social democrats, other representatives, socialists and Marxists. You disrespected Presidents and generals better than yourself. You disrespected your constituents. You disrespected yourself.

Above all, you profoundly disrespected your own wife, a woman you promised always to love and protect.

No matter how you cut it, no matter how you seek to account for it, the bottom line is that you brought your woes on your own head. You did it deliberately, belligerently, defiantly, insolently. Mr. Allen West, you are an arrogant, abusive, two-faced, fork-tongued, incorrigible potty-mouth.

For many of us, it staggers the mind that such a record as yours would not inform you why you lost. Yet it does not even begin to darken your mind why this doom has been meted out to you. You are incapable of imagining you are the cause of this end.

Your reaction to your defeat demonstrates that you are everything which your own record attests concerning who you are.

I trust that this clarifies a few things for you. I believe that by now most of us are seeing this more clearly.
